The fantastically talented and entertaining artist Jon Hicks is a speed painter, who creates artwork on location across a variety of mediums and at times, on a monumental scale, bringing events to life.
With a degree in fine art, Jon has been performing for over twenty years reproducing images or creating original work. His work has seen him travel around the world, showcasing his incredible talent for painting upside down and outsized portraits of iconically famous figures, each of which are created within four to five minutes and rotated 180 degrees to reveal as a fantastic finale. His speed, skill and dexterity are a thing to behold, all delivered to a punchy soundtrack and performed with style and panache.
Jon has worked at events with a whole host of corporate clients. He has also been a guest act with Olivier Award winning La Soiree, he has appeared regularly on TV and has performed his artistic oddities at leading landmark festivals, events & venues like ‘Montreal’s Just for Laughs’, ‘Edinburgh Fringe’ and ‘Glastonbury Festival’ as well as being regular act on the London cabaret circuit.
