Mark is a London based caricaturist and cartoonist who designed the caricature heads for Spitting Image, he has drawn for national newspapers and magazines from The Week, The Economist, The Mail On Sunday, Spitting Image, ITV, BBC, Punch and GQ. A renowned talent, Mark’s work can be seen in many publications past and present around the world.
He is also a scriber (graphic recording of live events), Mark in fact worked for Cognitive Media, the company responsible for starting the whole craze in the first place, where he helped created the famous RSA Animate videos. He has gone on to draw at live seminars and conferences for multi-national companies like Sodexo.
Mark is a highly experienced live caricaturist who’s been drawing at weddings, corporate events and private functions for over 15 years, so he has a steady hand with a pen and paper and he’s experienced in engaging with people from all walks of life, in all manner of contexts.

Act information
Mark’s drawings are rather different from the usual felt tip squiggles, executed with a range of markers, he produces finished portraits in around 3-5 minutes, and these can be tailored according to how ‘cartoony’ or ‘portrait-like’ the client requires.
He can mingle with and draw guests to add the fun-factor, and create a real talking point at any event. Moreover, being a caricaturist, he can also sit back at a distance and provide cartoon portraits of speakers and company figures on stage at an awards night, Christmas party or team away day.
Having been a storyboard artist for over 10 years for some of the biggest London agencies, conveying a narrative is something he knows a lot about, and being a cartoonist who’s worked for myriad national publications, he has the imagination and pictorial language to express ideas in a concise and striking way.
